Description

  • The ONTAP Tools for VMware vSphere 10.x (OTV10) Swagger UI can retrieve detailed task information for specific Job IDs.
  • When performing a OTV task, you may see a "Recent Task" created in vCenter (for most operations). 
  • For example, the following "Discover storage backend" task has a Job ID of 1065:

  • This KB article will walk through using the Swagger UI to pull up details of a completed or failed Job ID. 
  • This can be helpful for determine why a OTV job might have failed.
