Issue

  • After upgrading ONTAP, an error related to "Object type storage alarm" is seen on vVol datastores in vCenter.
  • From AutoSupports from the impact NetApp ONTAP cluster/storage system, similar errors can be seen.

Storage provider [DC1-NetApp-VP-NG] raised an alert type 'Object' on vvol:3f249f3bf0d34101-9639f11d0d82a6a7: unknown message identifier: LIF is down: 410de3bf-20b4-11f0-b2f0-d039eaa04e3f updated time: 2025-05-30T17:00:09.279. LIF is down: 41317f25-20b4-11f0-b2f0-d039eaa04e3f updated time: 2025-05-30T17:00:09.410.
