Applies to

  • ONTAP Tools for VMware vSphere (OTV)
  • Storage Replication Adapter (SRA)

Issue

When SRA's concurrent reprotect option is set (see Enabling support for multiple, concurrent reprotects), you find the following after running multiple, concurrent Reprotect operations:

  • Snapmirror relationships on the original destination site are left behind.  For example:

cluster2::> snapmirror show -fields healthy,state
source-path destination-path state      healthy
----------- ---------------- ---------- -------
svm1:nfs1   svm2:nfs1_dest   Broken-off false

  • SRA does not issue a snapmirror delete call to the original destination to delete these relationships
