SRA TestFailover VM power on fails: Module 'MonitorLoop' power on failed. No space left on device

Issue

While performing TestFailover or Recovery, the task of powering on VMs fail with error:
Module 'MonitorLoop' power on failed.

  • SRA TestFailover VM power

 

Checking the task shows the detailed message: Failed to extend swap file /vmfs/volumes/cba96251-413abb58/<vm_name>/<vm_name>-619f5213.vswp from 0 KB to 4194304 KB : No space left on device
