Issue

SRA unplanned failover for sync relationships failed at the “Change recovery site storage to writable” phase with the following error:
“Failed to promote replica devices. A general system error occurred: N2Dr3Xml20XmlValidateExceptionE empty content is not valid for content model '(((Eui64,Nguid)|Wwn|NfsName|Lun+|Eui64|Nguid|Uuid))'”
ONTAP returned failures such as:

  • “Abort in progress for this relationship”
  • “Quiesce is a prerequisite for break/delete operation”
  • “Modification of relationship with destination ... is in progress. Wait a few minutes and try the command again.”
