Issue

  • The SRA command.pl does not appear to validate the vcenter-guid field when running the following command:
    perl command.pl -I --otv-ip <OTV_IP>:8443 --otv-username <Application username> --otv-password <Application password> --vcenter-guid <VCENTER_GUID>

  • The command.pl instead reports successful output like the following:
    operation: install
    otv-IP: <otv-IP>:8443
    vcenter-guid: <vCenter-hostname>
    SRA service status : Enabled
    Saving VCGUID <vCenter-hostname>
    Creating Symmetric KeyStored credentials successfully!
    Configuring the SRA adapter ....
    self signed certificate produced.
    Successfully registered certificate Status: 201
Created Response body: ["Success validating Credentials"]

  • When the customer goes to the Storage Replication Adapters menu in SRM, SRM reports
    No storage replication adapters installed

  • The SRM logs report errors similar to the following:
-->  SRA Server is unable to launch TASK for command queryInfo. Retrying ...Retry count :1Certificate is valid for more than 10 days.
