Issue

After deploying or upgrading ONTAP tools for VMware vSphere (OTV) 10.x, the appliance or plug-in may become unusable.
Symptoms can include: OTV UI slow to load or controls greyed out; vCenter not visible or not connected in the OTV plug-in; appliance reported as Degraded; gateway/auth
timeouts; errors such as "no healthy upstream"; authentication failures (for example HTTP 401) when communicating with vCenter in Enhanced Linked
Mode. These symptoms have been observed when auth-svc validate-session uses host or certificate details that do not match the current reachable
vCenter endpoint (for example after a vCenter IP change when the MACHINE SSL certificate SAN still contains a stale IP).
