Issue

  •   Under Subscribe to EMS events, Applicable to Cluster is shown as No

Unified Manager displays Applicable to Cluster as No in Subscribe to EMS events

  • ocumserver.log shows error Failed to create EMS destination because ONTAP cluster cannot reach AIQUM
    • ERROR [umadmin] [default task-986] [service.ems.SubscribeEmsDataAccessService|validateAndSave] [c.n.d.o.o.service.OntapEmsService] Failed to create EMS destination : Invalid destination address : <UM_FQDN> or destination address : <UM_FQDN> not reachable from cluster : <CLUSTER>. Please verify your network and DNS configuration. The cluster must be able to both reach the destinatation address and resolve the destination address FQDN successfully.
    • ERROR [umadmin] [default task-986] [service.ems.SubscribeEmsDataAccessService|validateAndSave] [c.n.dfm.impl.ems.EMSConfigureUtil] Failed to Configure EMS for Cluster <CLUSTER>
    • ERROR [admin] [default task-5150] [service.ems.SubscribeEmsDataAccessService|validateAndSave] [c.n.d.o.o.service.OntapEmsService] Failed to create EMS Destination <AIQUM_HOST> on <CLUSTER>. Error: Data ONTAP reported error code (13130), message: 'Unknown host <AIQUM_HOST>'
