Virtual Machines are not discovered by AIQUM after adding vCenter Server

Issue

  • No data is displayed in VMWARE > Virtual Machines even though VMs exist in registered vCenter Server

  • au_vc_foundation.log indicates VMs are skipped

WARN  [common-pool-3466] auvcfoundation (VirtualDiskBuilder.java:100) - [<VCENTER>] Skipping the virtual disk [[<DATASTORE>] <PATH>.vmdk] backed by the unsupported datastore [<MOID>]
WARN  [common-pool-3466] auvcfoundation (VmBuilder.java:155) - [<VCENTER>] Skipping the virtual machine [name='<VM>' moid=<MOID>'] with the universal unique identifier (UUID) [<UUID>] because either no virtual disks are attached to it or all the virtual disks are skipped

  • Recording file named vmwaredata_vcfoundation_<VCENTER>_<TIMESTAMP>.xml does not include datastore information
