Issue

  • AIQUM is failing to sync its clock to NTP servers.
  • Upon trying to use any NTP related options in maintenance console, or setting it up manually from diagnostic shell, one finds neither ntpd nor systemd-timesyncd are installed.
  • Attempting to use timedatectl to set up NTP throws this message:
    • # timedatectl set-ntp true
      Failed to set ntp: NTP not supported
