Is it possible to check ONTAP patches or major version in AIQUM same as AIQDA?

Answer

  • No, AIQUM cant check on available ONTAP versions/patches unlike AIQDA.
  • AIQUM and AIQDA are two different tools with different purposes.
  • AIQDA is a different tool build for updates/FW versions along with a high level details of clusters obtained from autosupport.
  • AIQUM uses its own REST/ZAPI calls to gather data from ONTAP.
  • Some AIQDA alerts are shown in AIQUM via AIQ events feature (mostly risks raised on AIQDA) via AIQCASecure rules, however managing and upgrading ONTAP patches is not included.
