Answer

  • Port 25 is the default SMTP port used by DataFabric Manager Server to send emails for alarms and cannot be customized. Since to send secure SMTPs is used port 465, it is not possible to enable SMTP-S in DFM.
  • To enable SMTP-S, eventually, it will be necessary to switch over from 7-Mode to CDOT as CDOT clusters will use Active IQ Unified Manager, which allows SMTP port customization.
