Active IQ Unified Manager alerts with partial qtree name resources do not trigger

Last Updated:

Applies to

Active IQ Unified Manager 9.9 (UM)

  • When adding qtree resources to an alert and using the <<All Qtree whose name contains...>> resource, and the filter contains a partial qtree name, the alert does not trigger for event on resources that should match that filter.
  • As an example, <<All Qtree whose name contains ‘svm1:/test3:/qt’ >> does not trigger when an event occurs on the qtree1 qtree in that volume.
