AIQUM upgrade fails due to higher MySQL version already installed

Issue

  • Upgrade of AIQUM fails with error seen in GUI:
    Setup failed to configure MySQL settings and will exit now. Try again.
  • Other installation errors may also be seen 
  • mysqld log shows: "Table 'mysql.plugin' doesn't exist" / "Could not open the mysql.plugin table. Please perform the MySQL upgrade procedure."
  • Current MySQL version installed on system is equal or higher than the supported MySQL on target AIQUM version
