Applies to

  • ActiveIQ Unified Manager (AIQUM) 9.6+
  • MySQL

Issue

  • Upgrade of AIQUM fails with error seen in GUI:
Setup failed to configure MySQL settings and will exit now. Try again.
  • Other installation errors may also be seen
  • Current MySQL version installed on system is equal or higher than the supported MySQL on target AIQUM version
    • For example:
Current AIQUM version is 9.13 then the supported MySQL version is 8.0.32
Having MySQL version 8.0.34 or higher (supported MySQL version on AIQUM 9.14), will cause upgrade to AIQUM 9.14 to fail
