Applies to

  • ActiveIQ Unified Manager (AIQUM) 9.6+
  • vScan servers/AV servers (eg: Trend Micro/McAffee etc)
  • EMS Alerts

Issue

  • AIQUM throws alerts for the AV servers whenever the servers get rebooted
  • Alert details:
Risk          - No AV Server Registered
Impact Area   - Availability
Severity      - Error
State         - New
Source        - <SVM>
Cluster Name  - <Cluster>
Cluster FQDN - <Cluster IP>
Trigger Condition - Nblade.vscanNoRegdScanner: For Vserver "<SVM_Name>", AV Connector running on the AV server "<AV_server_IP>" does not have a registered scan-engine to it.

  • Sometimes the alerts get obsolete but sometimes they stay as it is until marked as resolved manually
  • Cluster acquisition works fine
