Commvault aux copies fail for newly created volumes on AIQUM

Issue

  • Commvault aux copy jobs in coordination with AIQUM fails with error message:  

'entry doesn't exist' (request: '<sis-get><path>/vol/<newly_created_vol_name></path></sis-get>').

  • This is happening for a newly created volume for the first job.
  • Once the aux copy job is started, the destination volume is created. 
  • However, while getting the sis-get for the newly created destination volume, it fails with the above error and immediately the volume gets offline and destroyed.
