AIQUM cluster discovery status shows failed with PKIX path building failed

  • All platforms (Windows / Linux / OVA)

Issue

  • Cluster operation state shows "failed" in AIQUM as it stopped collecting data
  • Rediscovering the cluster fails
  • Restore operation via AIQUM fails for the cluster
  • If a cluster is not successfully configured due to this problem, nothing is shown in Dashboard
  • Volume alerts will no longer be sent when volume utilization has crossed a threshold
  • Intermittent cluster monitoring events are generated
  • Errors seen in the ocumserver.log:
    • Caused by: javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: PKIX path building failed: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target
