Why are part requests deferred even though systems have 2hr or 4hr contracts

Answer
Part Requests are deferred mainly due to Customer preference of accepting parts only during certain/business hours at their sites which coincides with their internal policies.
Additional Information
- Deferred Delivery process streamlines the handling of Part Shipments outside of a customers Goods Receiving Hours (GRH) for 2- & 4-hour TROs. Local depots or NBD Cut-off depots are used at the regional and country level in different GEOs to determine whether a Part Request should be deferred as Next Business Day order or Scheduled delivery order to meet the Customer timelines.
- Customer could update the Site Goods Receiving Hours(GRH) to their preference by creating a Nontechnical case from the NetApp Support Site :
- Login to NetApp Support Site
- Under Systems, click on Sites.

- On the respective site, click on the 3 dots on the left & select "Manage Site Hours and Preferences"

- Under Site Dispatch Hours, update the "Hours of Operation for Parts Receiving" & "Hours of Operation for Engineer Arrival" as per your preference.
