Answer

A defect listing it is fixed in all subsequent releases means that all releases having a higher version number have a fix.

Example 1:

  • A fix lists as "9.3RC1 and all subsequent releases" - means that it is also fixed in 9.4, 9.5, 9.6  all the way to the current release.
  • In this case no 9.2Px release has the fix

Example 2:

  • In this example all releases higher than 9.15.1 have the fix. for example: 9.16.1
  • Also 9.14.1P2 to 9.14P4 as well as 9.13.1P9 and 9.12.1P12 have the fix
  • New fix releases for the releases prior to 9.15.1 will get added as they become available
