  • Data ONTAP (7DOT) 8.2.4Px 7-Mode Filer and lower

Issue

Upgrading Java for SnapCreator 4.1.2 to Java 7u80 or Java 8u202 up to Java 8u271 can cause one of two errors accessing ONTAP 7-Mode:
 
ERROR: com.entapp.snapcreator.storage.executor.ZapiExecuteException: java.io.EOFException (seen in Java 8), or:
SSLException: Connection has been shutdown: javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: Received fatal alert: handshake_failure
(usually seen in Java 7)
