SCF Backups using SnapVault fails to run with a vault policy

Issue

Running a backup using Snap Creator fails on checking the SnapVault relationships of type "vault", also failing to create the backup snapshots:
SCF-00019: SnapVault relationship for [SRC_SVM]:[SRC_VOLUME] does not exist, Exiting!
 
This usually happens for all volumes defined in the configuration (*).
