Applies to

  • SnapManager for Oracle (SMO) 3.4.x
  • SnapManager for SAP (SMSAP) 3.4.x
  • SnapDrive for Unix (SDU) 5.3.x

Issue

When SnapManager use the "snapdrive protection destsnap" command with NFS storage during backup refresh, it fails on attempting to find LUNs:

error=2152: Please verify that the appropriate transport protocol, volume manager, file system and multipathing type are
installed and configured in the system. If NFS is being used, this warning message can be ignored.

The backups are therefore always shown as unprotected.
