SMHV fails to make a backup CIFS/SMB shares

Issue

SMHV backup fails with the following error seen in the SMHV job report:

Snapshot creation failed for one or more volumes. A snapdrive error occured while processing snapshot creation request.
Your backup operation failed.
Failed to get volume for SMB share : \\<Share_Path>.
Error Resolution: Ensure that the specified resource names are valid.
 
Check the Windows Event Log and SnapDrive logs for more details
