Issue

  • Application consistent backup fails with the error shown in the job report:

Snapshot location is not valid. This could mean the VM may have an unsupported storage configuration. Please confirm that VM's snapshot file location reside on NetApp storage

  • Application Event log of Windows OS shows the below:

The description for Event ID 2 from source SnapDriveEventMsgs cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.
