Why does Unified Manager say a volume has 0 days until full when it is not full?

Answer

Volume growth rate is calculated based on monthly averages and then used to predict a date-when-full based on capacity values from up to a year in the past. For this reason it is possible for the projected date-when-full to be in the past, even if space was recently freed up on the volume. As a result the volume landing page may display 0 days until full even though it is not yet full.

Additional Information

This issue is fixed in Unified Manager 9.7P1. The projected date-when-full and trend line will now be based on the latest data point, instead of data points in the past.
