Issue

  • Below error(s) observed in the command prompt window or the installer path\install_oci_dwh.bat while trying to install OnCommand Data Warehouse 7.3.10+
  • ' was unexpected at this time

  • DB2 install fails and is uninstalled

Creating sample Db2 database. 
The system cannot find the path specified.
ERROR: Validation of Db2 installation failed. 
ERROR: Encountered an error while installing Db2. 
Db2 will be uninstalled in 10 seconds. 
Db2 uninstall in progress. 
The system cannot find the path specified.
The system cannot find the path specified.
'"e:\IBM\DB2\tempDb2Uninstall\db2unins.exe"' is not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file.
Check "DB2-0" service exists or not, if not we can safely remove the DB2 install folder. 
[SC] EnumQueryServicesStatus:OpenService FAILED 1060:

The specified service does not exist as an installed service.

Db2 uninstall completed.
