"Index 0 out of bounds for length 0" message seen when adding SolidFire cluster in WFA 5.1

Issue
When attempting to add a new SolidFire cluster into WFA 5.1 from the Settings (Gear icon in the top-right corner of the UI > Credentials menu), WFA will fail to add the cluster and displays the message Index 0 out of bounds for length 0
.
The Save button will be disabled and grayed out as a result of the error, in to prevent the user from saving the new cluster into WFA.
Additional log observations:
- When attempting to add the SolidFire cluster with the hostname, the following message may be seen within the
LOG_WFA.LOG
log file within a WFA AutoSupport.
Note: The wfa log file is also present available on <installed_WFA_path>\Program Files\NetApp\WFA\jboss\standalone\log\wfa.log
in Windows-based platforms and /opt/netapp/wfa/jboss/standalone/log.war/jboss/wfa.log
in Linux-based platforms.
2020-04-22 00:57:15,428 ERROR [com.netapp.wfa.ui.ExecutionFacadeImpl] (default task-52) Failed to resolve the host name 'FQDN-OF-WFA' to IP address.
- Similarly when providing the IP address of the SolidFire cluster as a credential and clicking on the Test button, WFA will record the following (false-positive) message in
wfa.log
. Despite what the error message below states, SolidFire cluster will have unexpired SSL certificates upon verification.
Credential with expired certificate is not testable.
