Data source object refresh is failing with "Unable to invoke AU EJB" error

OnCommand Unified Manager 9.4 and 9.5

Issue

  • Cluster performance data missing for all clusters. The error banner in OnCommand unified Manager (OCUM) GUI is “No performance data is being collected from cluster. Restart Unified Manager to correct this issue.”
  • Time stamp will not get updated for data sources when this issue is present.
  • Errors seen in logs:       

ocumerror.log:

2019-06-13 00:42:38,836 ERROR [oncommand] [pool-23-thread-18] [c.n.i.c.u.AcquisitionUnitStatusUtil] Unable to invoke AU EJB

ocumserver.log:

2019-05-17 10:10:47,099 ERROR [oncommand] [pool-23-thread-5] [c.n.i.c.u.AcquisitionUnitStatusUtil] Unable to invoke AU EJB java.io.IOException: Failed to retrieve RMIServer stub
