Issue

  • A volume clone split operation may fail for a volume recently transitioned from 7-Mode:
Cluster01::> volume clone split start -vserver svm1 -flexclone clone1 -foreground true

[Job 43258] Job is queued:
Split clone1.
Error: command failed: [Job 43258] Job failed: Internal error
  • The following may be seen in EMS:
6/22/2022 15:17:32 Cluster01-01     DEBUG wafl.config.req.error: Config request 'VV_CONFIG_REQ_CLONE_SPLIT_START' by WAFL for volume clone14846a850-8f6c-11e8-9fdf-00a098ead089 is not being processed because of the error: '836 - CR_VV_INOFILE_UPGRADING'.
