Issue

  • Filer console freezes after vscan is enabled on ONTAP 8 7MODE system
  • VSCAN operation is enabled but the scans are not working
  • We see these errors in the massages log:
 
"Error while negotiating protocol with server STATUS_IO_TIMEOUT."
 
"CIFS: An attempt to connect to vscan server \\NAS01 failed [0xc00000b5].
