Issue

  • Failed disk drive replaced with alternate part model showing 'init failed' after replacement
  • EMS logs indicate drive is not supported on current version with alert similar to the following
[ntap01: pmcsas_intrd_0: disk.min.OS.error:error]: Disk 0a.00.11L1 is not supported because it requires a minimum kernel version of 9.0.0. Current version is 8.2.5P5 7-Mode.
