  • 7-Mode Transition Tool (7MTT)

Issue

This troubleshooting Workflow is for PS/partners/customers transitioning their 7-Mode system to a clustered Data ONTAP system using the 7MTT.

Re-run of the 'transition start' failed with the following error:

Error onlining volume "vserver_name:volume". Unable to set volume attributes for volume "Vserver_volume" on Vserver "Vserver".

Reason: Volume was left in an inconsistent state by an aborted copy or an aborted SnapMirror initial (level 0) transfer. To bring it online, you must either destroy and recreate the volume, or complete an initial SnapMirror transfer or copy.
