Issue

  • Node offline and ping is not available, BMC WebUI is also not reachable. (also may happen during the upgrade from 12.3.0 to 12.7)
  • After the power drain the node still can't boot with a black TUI screen.
  • SEL log shows critical entries:

[Crtical] [NM Status] [Management Subsystem Health] Controller access degraded or unavailable Self-Test Result:0x57 0x02 - Asserted
[Critical]  [Volt_CPUx_XXX] [Voltage]  Lower Critical - Going Low (Reading: 0.028 Volts/ Threshold: 1.078 Volts) - Asserted
[Critical]  [SPS FW Health] [OEM]  Firmware Status - Image Execution Failed - Asserte
[Warning]  [SPS FW Health] [OEM]  Firmware Status - UMA Operation Error - Asserted
[Critical]  [CATERR]  [Processor] IERR - Asserted
[Critical]  [CATERR]  [Processor] IERR - Asserted
