Issue

  • BMC UI suddenly becomes inaccessible
  • Can ping the BMC IP from mNode
  • Restarting the BMC using ipmitool will get the following error:
    • ipmitool -I lanplus -H <bmc_ip_address> -U <username> -P <password> mc reset cold
    • Error: Unable to establish IPMI v2 / RMCP+ session
