Issue

When experiencing slow restore performance, it might be helpful to check some of the following areas:

  • Check if the AltaVault appliance is under excessive load using the CPU reports.
  • Quiesce new SnapMirror backups for the duration of the restore operations.
  • Keep the number of concurrent restores less than 10.
  • Files need to be prepopulated before they can be served for the restore
