Issue

  • Getting the following error message while deploying the Data Classification from Console:

Error:(MarketplacePurchaseEligibilityFailed) Marketplace purchase eligibilty check returned errors. See inner errors for details. Code: MarketplacePurchaseEligibilityFailed Message: Marketplace purchase eligibilty check returned errors. See inner errors for details. Exception Details: (BadRequest) Offer with PublisherId: 'netapp', OfferId: 'cloud-compliance' cannot be purchased due to validation errors. For more information see details. Correlation Id: 'xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx' Offer with PublisherId: 'netapp', OfferId: 'cloud-compliance' and PlanId: byol was removed from the marketplace for new purchase.

Cause

The issue occurred because the CDS (Cloud Data Sense) offering was temporarily removed from the Azure Marketplace, which blocked new deployments and resulted in the MarketplacePurchaseEligibilityFailed error.

Solution

The offering has been restored, and Classification can be deployed from marketplace
