Issue

  • Sync Transfer rates slowing down over the course of a sync, and will end in failure.
  • Errors like the below can be seen, indicating a failed sync:
FAILED source { cifs: { host: 'shareName', share: '/ Error: getxattr failed on
mnt/xxxx/xxxx/xxxx/xxxxx/xxxx/xxxxxxxxx
0909_063014.trn: Host is down

Cause

This is caused by running an old version of Linux on the databroker

Solution

Re-deploy a new version of the Databroker with an up-to-date, supported version of Linux.
