No, FlexCache volumes are not supported in NetApp Console Backup and Recovery indexing.

Additional Information

  • NetApp Console Backup and Recovery indexing is designed to work with supported ONTAP volume types such as FlexVol and FlexGroup volumes. 
  • Since FlexCache is intended to provide caching functionality rather than primary data storage, it isn’t configured for the same indexing mechanism. 
  • The indexing process in NetApp Console targets volumes that can reliably maintain the metadata and snapshot information required for backup and recovery workflows.
