Issue

  • Cloud backups are consuming both AWS S3 Glacier Deep Archive and S3 Standard-IA storage classes, while the intended policy is to store all backup data only in S3 Glacier Deep Archive.
  • Despite setting the “ArchiveAfterDays” policy to 0, some backup objects remain in S3 Standard and S3 Standard-IA classes, and the expected transition of all data to Deep Archive is not occurring as anticipated.
