CBS Backup relationship deletion failed from Bluexp UI

Issue

  • Deleting the backup relationship from CBS fails with the following error:
{  "statusCode": 500,  "error": "Internal Server Error",  "message": "Failed to modify backed up volume. Cannot destructure property 'backupList' of '(intermediate value)' as it is undefined."}
  • From BlueXP UI:
CBS Backup relationship deletion failed from Bluexp UI

Cause

  • Deleting SnapMirror to Cloud relationship from ONTAP CLI leaves a stale entry in BlueXP.
  • The backup volume has a stale entry in the CBS backend database however, the database doesn't detect a SnapMirror relationship.

Please contact NetApp Technical Support or log into the NetApp Support Site to create a technical case. Reference this article for further assistance.
