Issue

  • OpenStack Cinder is not deleting old snapshots as expected causing production volume space to fill up due to undeleted snapshots
  • Customer has to manually delete snapshots to avoid running out of space. No recent environmental changes reported
  • Issue observed with a tenant using consistency groups; other tenants not affected since they were not using consistency groups.
