Applies to

  • Cloud Volumes ONTAP (CVO)
  • Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • Transit Gateway (TGW)
  • CIFS/SMB
  • NFS

Answer

  • Adding in a new TGW would not have any effect on clients already mounted to the floating IPs
  • Clients outside of the VPC where CVO resides would be able to mount to these IPs after the TGW is added
  • Clients will only be disrupted till they are migrated to the new IPs
