  • Azure Blob Storage private link
  • Azure Blob Storage public link
  • Object storage

Answer

  • Changing Azure Blob storage from public link to private link is not disruptive.
  • Saved data will be consistent on existing Blob storage after the change.

Additional Information

  • Object storage must have SSL/TLS and HTTPS enabled.
  • The change can only be done from Azure portal.
  • The change can be verified through ONTAP by checking name resolution:

getaddrinfo -node netapp-cluster-01 -vserver netapp-cluster -hostname netappbackupxxx.blob.core.windows.net

  • Profiler test can verify Object storage connectivity after change is done:

snapmirror object-store config profiler start -object-store netappbackupxxx
