Can upgrade advisor plan be generated for a CVO system?

Answer

  • No. When CVO is being upgraded, BlueXP sets necessary parameters that are needed to keep the CVO and BlueXP in-sync.
  • As a result CVO upgrade must be completed from BlueXP.
  • CVO systems are not able  to be upgraded through upgrade advisor, upgrade advisor is strictly for On-Prem systems.
  • In case of an issue with the upgrade, the right step is to engage NetApp Support in order to complete the upgrade and confirm that the configuration is consistent.
