Issue

  • Deploying a single node CVO in AWS fails with the error:

The following permission is missing: 'ec2:RunInstances'. For more information please refer to the OnCommand Cloud Manager policies documentation at https://mysupport.netapp.com/site/info/cloud-manager-policies

  • This happens even though this permission exists.
