Issue

  • WS AD collector goes down intermittently
  • Sometimes it recovers automatically or sometimes manual restart of collector is needed
  • Errors in GUI:
    • User Directory Collector <collector_name>' is disconnected. Users' information is not updated
    • Connector is in error state. Service name: usersLdap. Reason for failure: Failed to retrieve LDAP users. Reason for failure: Cannot connect on the server, the connection is null
  • dsc.log:
    • [ERROR] [prod] [0[<ID>] <ID>] [<ID>] [datasource-LdapUsersRetriever] - Exception when listing users from LDAP server. Exception class: class org.apache.directory.ldap.client.api.exception.InvalidConnectionException, Exception message: Cannot connect on the server, the connection is null, Exception stacktrace: org.apache.directory.ldap.client.api.exception.InvalidConnectionException: Cannot connect on the server, the connection is null
