Answer

  • Yes. When the capacity management mode is set to automatic in the BlueXP Connector settings, BlueXP takes care of purchasing new disks for the CVO instances when more capacity is required.
  • If the aggregate reaches the capacity threshold and if more disks can be added to the particular aggregate, then BlueXP will automatically purchase new disks for the aggregate to ensure that the volume can continue to grow.
  • If an aggregate reaches the capacity threshold and cannot support any additional disks, BlueXP automatically moves a volume from that aggregate to an aggregate with available capacity or creates a new aggregate.
