Can StorageGRID recover the Application deleted object data on the StorageGRID side?

Answer

  • StorageGRID can not recover the application deleted object data on the StorageGRID side.
  • Application Side sends a delete Objects request to StorageGrid. The StorageGrid immediately puts the metadata into the object_by_uuid table, and deletion is sync mode. Then data are deleted synchronously.
Note: Restore deleted object data via the backup of the Application Side, or regenerate the deleted object data on the Application side.
