  • In some cases, hardware monitoring is not possible to be configured from the OS level 
  • This procedure describe another way to monitor those using the SNMP settings on the hardware's BMC

Note: This only covers on where to configure the SNMP client settings, any concerns related on how to configure an SNMP server is handled by the 3rd party vendor.
