Suse Linux Enterprise Server reports latency errors on SolidFire volume, sometimes resulting in a node reboot

Issue

  • Storage Based Death will self-fence the server node if it can't read from the storage for longer than the watchdog timeout; which defaults to 5 seconds.
  • The highest priority of the High Availability cluster stack is to protect the integrity of data. This is achieved by preventing uncoordinated concurrent access to data storage
